Phosphorus Action Group

Did you know the fertiliser we put on our gardens in the Perth metropolitan area is the largest threat to the health of the Swan and Canning Rivers? That nitrogen and phosphates promote algal blooms? That there is a direct connection between our backyards and our rivers? Want to know more? Click over to the Phosphorus Action Group (PAG) to find out how you can help our rivers. PAG can also visit your dive club, school or community group and give a presentation on how we can reduce nitrogen and phosphorus entering our rivers. Contact PAG Coordinator Amy Krupa.
