A very pleasant dive site with a limestone reef rising from a sandy bottom. Ten dive trail plaques surround the reef.

Description
Boyinaboat Marine Sanctuary Zone is located inside Marmion Marine Park. The Sanctuary is a total no take zone.

Always use a dive flag. Watch for boats, Hillarys is very busy. Although Boyinaboat lies inside a marine sanctuary, I have seen motor boats illegally moving between the reef and the seawall (including a dive club tinny!!). Check for swell and surge. Entering caves and diving under ledges can be dangerous. Watch for cobbler and coneshells.
